Bevel replaces a sharp edge with a narrow strip of faces. Real edges are never perfectly sharp, and a bevel lets an edge catch the light.
Drag a model to turn it.
SharpNo bevel. The edges show no highlight, which reads as computer-made.1 segmentA single flat face along each edge, called a chamfer.3 segmentsMore segments curve the edge. The wireframe shows the new faces.8 segmentsEnough segments read as a smooth round edge.Narrow widthWidth sets how far the bevel cuts in. A small width keeps the object crisp, like machined metal.Wide widthA large width softens the whole shape, like worn wood or molded plastic.
In your tool
Select edges (or vertices).
Run Bevel (some tools call it Chamfer).
Drag to set the width, and raise the segment count for a rounder edge.
